JS Media was founded in March 2018 by Jeremy Sulit, an IAB Certified Media Planner & Buyer and Syracuse University graduate with over six years of professional experience in the media industry. Shortly after graduating from Syracuse’s SI Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in advertising, Sulit began his career as an intern in the media department of Philadelphia’s Tierney Agency and knew right away that media was his future. He has since held a variety of positions, both on the agency side and on the vendor side, that have given him exposure to all types of media, including outdoor, transit, print, digital, TV, and radio.

His latest position before starting his own agency was as a freelance business development associate for hMAG, a lifestyle magazine in Hoboken. At hMAG, Sulit worked with local advertisers who, unlike most national advertisers, were handling their own media buys. That’s when Sulit began to ask himself: If the media planning business model can yield billions of dollars worth of revenue for the Budweisers and the Buicks of the world, shouldn’t the same service be available to a personal injury attorney in Paramus or a dentist in Long Island or a restaurant owner in South Jersey? His solution—JS Media—gives local and regional advertisers as well as startups access to the same expertise that their Fortune 500 counterparts have, but for a fraction of the cost. Sulit is an active presence in New Jersey’s networking community. He coordinates marketing for Hudson Connections, a referral networking group based in Hoboken, and is a member of the programming committee for the American Marketing Associate of New Jersey. He frequents events hosted by various organizations, including NJ Ad Club, NJCAMA, NJ Networking Events, and Hudson Chamber of Commerce.
